We have now further developed Appendix 11 of the NIPCM producing an A-Z of pathogens/diseases requiring TBPs. This has been developed to work on mobile devices to increase accessibility to the information. http://www.nipcm.hps.scot.nhs.uk/a-z-of-pathogens-requiring-tbps/

This A-Z shows:

• Main route of transmission
• Optimal patient placement
• RPE/PPE required
• Guidance and supporting materials

The pdf table of Appendix 11 will still be available to download from the website.

Further development will take place during 2017 with the addition of disease descriptions, further pathogens and education and training courses.
